MY RACING HEART TESTIMONIALS
"What a lucky day for TRF when we were introduced to Kate Wilt. She is a tireless and tenacious fundraiser who has helped tremendously with our run-in shed project for horses at the Blackburn Correctional facility.
The current economy puts a lot of pressure on all not-for-profits, and ours is no exception. Kate's willingness to dig in and find ways to make money for Kentucky's horses in need is really appreciated. The 78 horses at Blackburn are being helped by Kate's generous contributions to the run-in project."

"Mountain View Rescue has been in formal operation since 2007 and since that time we have placed over 200 horses into loving homes. Our Hay Bank Program was created last year for KY residents in response to the 2007-2008 droughts and the subsequent economic downturn. With this program we hope to keep KY horses in their loving homes by offering temporary hay donations through critical times of need. We are also looking forward to implement gelding vouchers in this program for 2010. MRH is a proud sponsor of our hay bank program, and we are thrilled to have them on board."

"Pocket Aces Racing, L.L.C., believes it is of the utmost importance that we give back to the industry and breed that has given us our livelihood as well as an unparalleled level of joy and excitement for our clients, which is why we are so proud to donate a portion of our entire stable earnings to My Racing Heart. The projects supported by My Racing Heart, such as the Backside Learning Center at Churchill Downs, Mountain View Rescue, Eastern Kentucky Haybank and many others, are vital to insuring our industry remains healthy - they also let the "outside" world know that we are committed to taking care of our own. We challenge racing partnerships across America to follow suit and donate a portion of stable earnings to the thoroughbred charity of their choice."

"Horses work for Kentucky as wonderful facilitators to psychotherapy. They serve as immediate icebreakers, create rapport, and establish respect between troubled youth and therapist in order to help these teens better their lives and ulitmately reduce recidivism rates. My Racing Heart is helping to make this happen by providing help with the cost of fuel for transportation of the horses."
